Recent updates to the prominent Minimum Intervention Dentistry evidence database, the MI Compendium, include an answer to the research question ‘In patients with comparable caries risk, does RMGIC have a better remineralisation effect than composite resin?’ MI Compendium chapter A8 answer is: The available evidence suggests that in the absence of fluoride exposure from other sources, RMGIC has often a better remineralizing effect than composite resin.
