Book examines beliefs that lead to success in business and life

Dental practice consultant and president of the Mastery Company, Dr Marc Cooper, recently published his third book, Source: The Genesis of Success in Business and Life. Throughout the book, Dr Cooper explores a consistent set of six principles and beliefs among individuals who are successful in their work and personal lives: possibility, integrity, character, context, accountability, and thankfulness.
“This book is a must-read for anyone out to create excellence in life, business or personal,” says Kim Chapman of Bothell, Wa. USA, in her review of Cooper’s book. “Dr Cooper distinguishes concepts in a way that makes them gut level real by requiring you to examine your beliefs and get clear on what they mean for you.”
These six fundamentals, with their own individual chapters in the book, are explained through core elements the author has endeavored to write in simple, yet powerful, phrases for the reader to thoughtfully examine and reflect on. “And it is this reflection, this self-examination that produces powerful insights leading to a personal and professional transformation,” says Cooper.
After reading Cooper’s book, Marc Silberg of Pittsburg, Pa., USA, tells readers to “approach this book as a mystery and a challenge to what you already think you know, and what you think about yourself, your business, and your life…and you will gain powerful insights that make a difference.”
According to Cooper, in nearly three decades of consulting successful professionals, the insight or understanding of who you are is far more decisive than a business plan. “You do, in fact, need to make plans, set goals, define objectives and develop smart strategies, but that is not what ultimately drives achievement and success,” says Cooper. “What provides that germination for success exists at the source of who you are. This source provides the power, courage and intention to achieve.”
